Architecture Begins from One’s Desire to Protect Another
POST DISASTER RECONSTRUCTION
In this curriculum of traditional shack building, elders were teachers to tell a story about family. Every building step was done according to the experience from the elders or on-site observation without design drawing, and kids and the youth participated in the entire process and learned from it.I organized the curriculum team and participated in shack design, construction, and process recording. These records became the teaching materials for learners in the future.
