POST DISASTER RECONSTRUCTION
The design objective was to exhibit the traditional art and develop cultural and creative industries of the nearby tribes with the traditional housing typology, black slate. In traditional life, the courtyard is the important place for grain drying, grass weaving, and carving. It is the place used for private and public activities. The courtyard house becomes the basic form of this project. The traditional material, slate, also is used in the construction.
